I was at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife office property in Adair Village on Friday, August 17 to do a little birding. I observed a bat being chased by a Western Wood Peewee. Not being a bat person, I could not identify the type of bat, but I was surprised to find it out flying about at around 1:00 pm in the afternoon on a nice partly cloudy day.
