I spent several days exploring eastern Oregon this past week.  Highlights included about 150 BLACK ROSY FINCHES at the East Rim of the Steens and apx 400 BANK SWALLOWS on Krumbo Res. Rd.  Shorebirds at Malheur NWR were in good numbers including:

  Wilson's Snipe
  Long-billed Curlew
  Marbled Godwit (Buena Vista)
  Greater Yellowlegs
  Lesser Yellowlegs
  Spotted Sandpiper
  Solitary Sandpiper (Narrows)
  Long-billed Dowitcher
  Western Sandpiper
  Least Sandpiper
  Wilson's Phalarope
  Black-necked Stilt
  American Avocet
  Killdeer
