[obol] Incident at Forest Grove wetland

Last night I was driving back from a friend's house and saw a Wash. Co.
sheriff's car in the Fern Hill parking lot. The deputy was talking to people
who had a tripod and camera. I stopped and asked what happened, A man said
he was taking pix of the osprey when a jogger came along and said he was
sick and tired of birders and photographers being in the way of joggers and
then pushed the tripod and camera toward the water and down the rocky bank.
I've heard from the photographer (not an obol subscriber) today who said
police found the jogger who claims he ran into the camera accidentally. No
charges are being filed at this point.
If anyone was there last night who may have witnessed this event, it would
be helpful. And it's just something to keep in mind.
