OBOL'ers:
Kind of buried in Jacob Garvelink's post about his great Oregon birding adventures was mention of BBSA at Fernhill. Not being from out here, he didn't know that such a sighting should have been highlighted and more location details given.
I spoke with him and he saw the bird on one of the islands in the Mitigation Pond. He is highly confident in his ID of the bird, which he described as very skittish, and associating with a few peeps.
