[obol] Book recommendation

I recently picked up a copy of: "Band-tailed Pigeon (Wilderness Bird at
Risk)", by Worth Mathewson, Timber press 2005.  Birders owe it to themselves
and others to read this little book.  I now know that my impression of fewer
band-tails in recent years is real, and I guess I was expecting it, but I
had no idea what was really going on, until now.    Hunters, shooters, and
wildlife managers also owe it to themselves to read this book!
