The following birds were observed by Wayne Weber at the Deschutes
River State Recreation Area in Sherman County, from the park entrance
south for about a mile along the Deschutes River. Observations were
made from about 8:30 to 10:30 AM on November 25, 2007.
The HERMIT THRUSH was somewhat unexpected, especially the fact that
it was singing. Also, I did not expect to find YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS
so late in the fall, although they could possibly overwinter at this
locality.
