Some other birds seen of late in Coos Co.
RC Flyer Club, east side of the bay, 11/30:
1- SWAMP SPARROW (this species is sparse at Millicoma
this year)
Coos Bay waterfront, 12/1:
6- WILLETS
1- CLARK'S GREBE (near the eastside boat ramp)
1- INT. OR HYBRID CLARK'S/WESTERN GREBE (orange bill
but dark lore)
Millicoma Marsh, 12/4:
4- WHITE-THROATED SPARROW (at the north seed)
1- SLATE-COLORED JUNCO (same spot)
Bunker Hill area, Coos Bay, Red Dike Road, 12/4:
3- EURASIAN WIGEON (2 males and a very bright female)
Empire Sewage treatment plant, 12/4:
1- male HYBRID AMERICAN X EURASIAN WIGEON
Also, Glenn Harkleroad, a co-worker and duck hunter,
reported a SNOW GOOSE at Bandon Marsh on 12/2.
