LeavesAfter a long absence, the PINE SISKINS are back!
Very glad to see the little beggers.
Also seen today, DOWNY WOODPECKER, NORTHERN FLICKER, CHESTNUT-BACKED and
BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEE, ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS, HOUSE FINCHES, HOUSE SPARROWS,
BUSHTITS, GOLD-CROWN, WHITE CROWN, WHITE THROATED and SONG SPARROWS, SPOTTED
TOWHEE but no Tim Rodenkirks - yet.
I think the strong south winds kept the Tim Rodenkirks around Coos bay.
I hear the Tim Rodenkirks might be migrating south to Baha California to
thaw out.
I didn't see any broken BROWN PELICANS here but I did see a small flock on
Monday at Harris beach and the gulls were playing in the gale force winds
and dodging the huge waves, in general they were enjoying themselves.
