Do I get a prise for finding THE RED PHALAROPE of The Storm?

Tuesday 4 Dec
RED PHALAROPE: one plump individual flew from the north and landed in
the wrack line on the south spit of the Necanicum Estuary.
BROWN PELICAN: 60. Half flying north; the others staging in the Nec. Estuary
BONAPARTE'S GULL: 40 in flooded fields at Circle Creek and the Seaside
Golf Course with other gulls.

Dead Stuff on Seaside Beach: the only things that looked to be victims
of the storm were several WESTERN GREBES, a HORNED GREBE, and a
WHITE-WINGED SCOTER. There were several Fulmars, but these were
deposited prior to the storm.

Two ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS survived the storm and continue to visit our
feeder. No Varied Thrushes yet, and I have yet to see a Hermit Thrush on
the coast this winter.

We came into Portland last night when they opened Hwy 26 at about 7:00pm
last night to stay at my parents' house since the power in Seaside will
not likely be on again until this weekend.
