[obol] Tree Sparrow ID

I saw zillions of Tree Sparrows when I lived in Missouri, and have seen
quite a few in Oregon.  When you see one for the first time, you will not
for one moment think "what an odd White-crown."  You might briefly think
"jeez is that a longspur" or "wow, what is that."

The colors are unlike any small ground bird we normally see here except
perhaps Chipping Sparrow.  Tree Sparrow is a lovely silvery gray with orange
(not rufous, orange) bits here and there and not a lot of the warm brown
tones we see on most western sparrows.
