This does appear to be the same bird that I found the other day.
I only had a short view of it perched facing me before some people
playing Frisbee with their dogs flushed it out of sight. It would be a
bonus bird on tomorrow's Sauvie Island CBC.
Carol Kohler emailed me today saying that there were three more
Red-throated Loons in the Columbia River off of the parking lot at the
end of Lower River Rd.

The MOUTAIN BLUEBIRD was still present this morning (Friday) at
Frenchman's Bar County Park in Vancouver Lake Lowlands as discribed by
Wilson Cady. It was in the same area, left of the far left restrooms
moving between the white poles, the benches and the nearby trees.
I would say it is a first year male??? Wilson Cady thought it was a
female and Ken Knittle thought it to be a male. It has the buffiness of
a female but also the light blue of a male on it's chest.
