[obol] Varied Thrush in Scappoose - more noted than usual

Home, sick with the flu for the past two days now, I noted this morning no
fewer than seven Varied Thrush in my and my neighbors front yard. They were
working the lawns just like a flock of American Robin. 

 

Varied Thrush are normal on my property but usually only one or two at a
time are seen. Seven is a remarkable number to all be present at once.

 

Also noted was a stunningly fresh and red male House Finch.
