I continued to check vantage points north and south of Bray's Point until
about noon today. I ran into Steve Kornfeld and Jim Regali at Bray's Point
shortly before noon. They had seen no suspect birds and reported that they
had talked to Iain Tomlinson and Tim Janzen who had not seen any birds of
interest either.

During the course of the morning I found a Long-tailed Duck from the Bob
Creek parking area, immediately n. of Bray's Point. I also saw Rhinoceros
Auklets from the Strawberry Hill viewpoint and from Toketee-Klootchman
Wayside a few miles s. of Bray's Point. There were at least a dozen
Harlequin Ducks at Toketee-Klootchman and more scoters there than any of the
other sites. Diligent searching of the scoter flocks produced a surprising
zero Black Scoters, which have been non-existent along the Lane coast this
winter. Marbled Murrelets were seen at nearly every overlook I checked.
