[obol] Day of the Living dead.......... Snow Bunting

Either there were two snow buntings at the Smith rd site in Linn Co., or the pile of white feathers belonged to something else, 'cause when I went to look for the horned larks today at about 2:00, the first noise to greet my ears upon stepping out of the car was a chattering snow bunting, which eventually made an appearance for 1/2 hour or so, all in one piece.
For anybody who saw the first incarnation of this bunting, was it a male?

Subject: [obol] Snow Bunting dead...
Sylvia and Paul S. were at the Linn county site this morning at 9:00 and
found a pile of Snow Bunting feathers and a contented looking Prairie
Falcon. The Horned Larks however were still in evidence.
Sorry, Rick
