This afternoon, I combined two of my favorite
things, flying and birding. Flying south out of the
Corvallis airport south to Harrisburg I saw 2 adult
and 1 immature BALD EAGLES. There was a large flock of
SWANS a couple miles north of Harrisburg on the east
side of 99E. I also identified CANADA GEESE, MALLARDS,
and a CROW from the air. Taxiing back in I saw 4
HORNED LARKS, a HARRIER, and a MEADOWLARK at the
Corvallis airport. I think I just started a new list:
Birds seen from the Tri-Pacer!
