[obol] Emperor Goose

I received this email from a friend who was on the road and could not post to obol himself.  Maybe some south coast folks can check htis out.
Dated Feb 6.

"Today at noon I saw an Emperor Goose at Harris Beach State Park just north of Brookings.  It was sitting on a medium-sized rock about 50 yards off-shore  opposite and just a tad north of the main parking lot.  I didn't have a scope, but the white head, blackish neck and moderately dark body were clearly evident.  The bill appeared short and light in color, but I couldn't see it well.  The size appeared right on as there was an Oystercatch sharing the rock so a size comparison was quite easy."
