[obol] Backyard birdies

Over the past month and a half or so, I've seen several (5-7) VARIED THRUSHES picking at crumbs under my suet basket every day.  A female YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER has joined them for most of that time and, more recently, a male TOWNSEND'S WARBLER has been eating suet at two of my other feeders.  In addition to more frequent sightings of a female NORTHERN FLICKER, I'm occasionally seeing a smaller male now as well.  I've seen a BROWN CREEPER in my yard for consecutive weekends now, which is a first.  A CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEE began visiting my feeders about a week and a half ago, but I didn't see it this weekend.

Numbers of BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEES, RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, ANNA'S HUMMERS, and DOWNY WOODPECKERS have remained more or less steady.

After typically seeing one RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET per day up until I went on vacation in December, I've only seen one since.  The number of AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES at my feeders have been more erratic recently and I'm also seeing fewer DARK-EYED JUNCOS for some reason.  The WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCH that typically visited my yard in the afternoon has also been around less frequently than before.

I had fun watching the dozens of ROBINS flitting about the maples.  Also had at least 3 VARIED THRUSHES rooting around in the leaf litter.  Suet feeders had BLACK CAPPED CHICKADEES, 1 TOWNSENDS WARBLER, YELLOW RUMPED "MYRTLE" WARBLERand 1 ORANGE CROWNED WARBLER.  Other birds were several HOUSE SPARROWS, 2 DOWNY WOODPECKERS.  
I have seen the RED NAPED SAPSUCKER on occasion, not regularly at the tree he has been.
