[obol] Bird sites?

Les,

I haven't seen the Falcated Duck this year, but I did see it two years ago.
I've seen a Burrowing Owl this winter. One has been hanging out here in
Linn County, and it's location has been posted to OBOL at least twice (once
by me). They hang out by road culverts and they look like potatoes, so they
are easy to miss if you aren't looking hard enough. I'd bet you a hundred
bucks there's a Burrowing Owl in Lane county right now.

Randy Campbell,

Peoria

I hope all the local Linn County birders have enjoyed seeing the beautiful
Falcated Duck up here in Lane County this year and in prior years. I’ve
really had a great time watching the duck and sharing him with others! It’s
been a long time since I’ve seen a Burrowing Owl in the winter in Oregon!
Seen one? Les Colburn
