There are other species of Spotten birds, Spotten Gull for instance. I
have first-hand knowledge of these. My car has first-hand knowledge of
Spotten Starling. I've heard stories from fisherpeople of Spotten Heron,
also called Sh**pole by some fisherpeople. My brother gave me a birding
book about various Spotten species. It is politically-correctly titled
"What Bird Did That?" ISBN 0-89815-427-8. Perhaps this area (or should I
say spot?) of birding has been neglected, such as, not enough Cheer was
used on that shirt?
