[obol] a question

Seems to me, from my own observations and from what others have
mentioned in the past on obol and in person, that partial albinism in
BC Chickadees in Oregon is surprisingly common, esp. on the
head/nape/back. So apparently certain feather tracts are more likely
to be albinistic. I don't remember this being the case other places
I've lived with this species, so could it actually differ
geographically? Maybe someone out there knows more about this?...
