[obol] Cool find

Yes, it is a cool find! The eagles have been around
about a month now, and are quite the topic of
conversation around the ponds and on the bike path.

I've had the opportunity to hear them "chatting" to
each other. That was a really neat treat, as in the
past I've only heard them doing the high, thin,
screeeeeeeeeeeeee noise when they are hunting.

You can get a really good line of vision from Rasor
Park off of River Road. Park in the Countryside
Pizza/Wild Plum parking lot and either walk down Rasor
Avenue or go around past Graffiti Alley to enter the
park.  

A few weeks ago the eagles were in the big Doug Fir
trees in the park. I watched one from about 50 feet
away. WOW!

I was driving home on Thursday, and passed Delta
Ponds. There were two adult 
BALD EAGLES flying low around the SW pond (between
Goodpasture and Delta Hwy). 
I thought this was a rather urban area for Baldies. 

Also saw a white goose, but did not stop to look.
