OBOL:
If I can resond regarding the Falcated Duck.
Jeff Gilligan reported seeing the bird this late week. I was able to visit
and see the bird on Tuesday.
IT IS MOST IMPORTANT FOR ALL VISITORS TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS SO THE BIRD
IS NOT SPOOKED.
To do so, follow this one simple rule. Cross to the far side of the water
course on the paved road.
Do not use any paved sidewalk or path. The park birds are feed from the
back of some of the homes. If birders or visitors are on both sides of the
watercourse,
it creates an uncomfortable environment for the wild birds in the group.

While I was there on Tuesday, there were a total of four photograhers trying
to ply their hobby. Three times the Falcated Duck got up and flew to
another section of the pond. All four of us were on the correct side of the
water and there were no other people around. He, the Duck, is truly
beautiful and should be enjoyed by all.
Check previous emails regarding the rules of the park. It is a locked gated
community.

Good Birding to all.
