On January 22, a SAGE THRASHER was observed bathing in the bird bath. We had
sage thrashers in the vicinity through the Christmas Bird Count a couple
years ago, but this is the first time we've seen this species on the
property this far into winter.

The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD is still around, too. We have enjoyed its presence
since 9/26.
