[obol] Oregon Birding Events?

I will be visiting the Portland, Oregon, area July 10-16, and then going on to the coast after that for a couple of weeks.
   
  Will there be any Bird Group meetings/lectures, Bird Walks, or other events of that type (Wildflower and/or Waterfall Hikes where birds might be, for example), that I might be able to take advantage of while I am in that area?
  
Last year I got to visit the nearby Wildlife Refuge in Washington, which was phenomenal.
