[obol] Baltimore (in Portland) Oriole ?

thanks David and Judy for the Black-headed Gros-beak
suggestion... could be! (I'll have to pay more attention to
the beak).. definitely a black-head but I remember vibrant
orange Oriole-like shoulder markings..

anyway, thanks for your help and by way of belated
introduction to the List, I'm an artist/designer/teacher
living in SW Portland Oregon ... up in the trees with many
Flickers, Thrushes, Woodpeckers, Jays, Robins, Crows,
Chickadees, Sparrows, chubby Dippers, occasional Hawk and
Finches, my favorite brave and friendly Nuthatches, and
nocturnal flying squirrels that eat whatever seeds are left
;)
