[obol] Malheur in the Fall?

Hello - I ran into someone at Ridgefield this past weekend who said that he
thought the third weekend in September was the best time for a Fall trip to
Malheur. I just wondered if anyone else had any thoughts on that? I know the
Sandhill Cranes stage for migration in Sept-Oct and that would be great to see.
Thanks for any input, onlist or off!
