Jeff,

A huge Thank You for taking time out to survey the
situation and post your findings for all of us out
hear in OBOL land.

I finally found my old loose-leaf field notes on the
Western Screech Owls and Big Brown Bats in Albany.  I
was surprised that it has been 5 years since I was
there (July 20, 2002).

Through Jeff Fleischer's report, we are reminded of
the preciousness of any aspect of nature that plays
out while we stand in witness.  Once again, we receive
a gentle reminder that we who love the out of doors,
need to savor our experiences in nature, for many of
them are fleeting.
