[obol] Baskett Slough NWR 7/28/2007

OBOLers,
 
Randy Moore and I spent a couple of hours at Baskett Slough NWR this morning.  Morgan lake, as reported, is completely drained with lots of rapidly drying mud.  All of that water has raised the water level at the narrows by a good bit relative to a week ago.  Shorebirds were present with most of the expected species seen.  We did not bother looking for the Indigo Bunting (it was still present as of Sunday the 22nd.
