[obol] Baskett Slough and Snagboat Bend

While up at Baskett yesterday we had quick looks of both a black tern and a 
black necked stilt both flying east over the marshes.
If you don't have weekend plans yet, tomorrow is a big event at the butte 
dedicating the trail as the 1000th National Recreation Trail and renaming it 
after Rich Guadagno. Should be a fun day with lots of activities planned 
from 12-6 including bird, butterfly and wetland walks followed by a ceremony 
and a bbq.

Also worth mentioning that recently there was a break in attempt on a 
vehicle parked at Snagboat Bend (south of Peoria) so if you visit, take 
valuables with you and be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.
