[obol] Request for Assistance

Hi OBOL'ers
   
  I need some help.  A Walking Club that I belong to (Columbia River VolksSport Club www.walkingforfun.org ) is staging an Event at Jackson Bottoms on June 16, 2007.  They want to combine an appreciation of Nature, Walking and some Basic Birding.  I will be there with a spotting scope so that they can view the Bald Eagle Nest and the desire is to have some other Birders roaming around the area with binoculars and/or scopes to help point out birds to the Walkers as they travel around the area.
   
  Anyone with even Basic Birding Skills can participate and provide information or point out birds.  There is always a chance that the information you provide will cause someone to become a Birder or, at least, more aware of birds and other Natural History aspects around them.
   
  I will be out of town until the 10th of June, but if you would like to join us and provide some Basic Birding information, please contact me at taylorbobt at yahoo.com.
   
  You are also more than welcome to join us on our Walk at no cost to you.  All VolkSport Events are free to the General Public and only those that walk for awards pay a fee.
   
  for those of you familiar with Geocaching ( www.geocaching.com ), there are several geocaches in the area and they will be "Found" by CRVC Members to explain that activity.
