I've been very busy lately but not so much as to not at least notice the
birds.
I'm having hordes of pigeons showing up at the feeders especially the
BAND-TAILED PIGEONS, followed by the MORNING DOVES and the
EURASIAN-COLLARED DOVES. They are breeding nearby.
The usual suspects are also here, WHITE CROWN and SONG SPARROWS, HOUSE
FINCHES, AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES, CHESTNUT BACKED & BLACK CAPPED CHICKADEE,
TREE, VIOLET-GREEN & BARN SWALLOWS, STELLERS JAY, CROWS, RAVENS, STARLINGS,
and CEDAR WAXWINGS.
Doing my BLOY nest survey, one of my nests now have three cute little black
chicks in it.
One nest seems to have failed but the others still have adults sitting on
nests.
