[obol] Fowl lunch for Blue Heron

My neighbor reported seeing a Blue Heron take a female Red-Wing Blackbird
"out of mid air and eat it for lunch".  My guess is fishing was slow.  Also,
noted in the moorage is the sudden absence of hummingbirds (Anna's).  Do
they move to summer grounds after the nesting season?  Our Tree Swallows
have chicks and the Purple Martins are bringing in nesting material.
