[obol] RFI: Ashland area owls

Hello birders,

I am visiting the Ashland area with family till June 28th and would like any hints/tips for seeing Great Gray Owl in the area.  I've tried Buck Prairie Rd. and Mt. Ashland in past years without success, but I suppose I've got to keep trying.  Other birds of particular interest to me include Flammulated and Spotted Owls, Northern Goshawk and Black-Backed Woodpecker.   

Also, it would be fun to join any locals who might be interested in a tag along Californian birder.  I am from Santa Cruz and would be happy to reciprocate if anyone is down that way.
