[obol] Barred Owls - Willamette NF

Greetings all,

I spent part of the solstice weekend at Breitenbush Hot Springs. Most of the expected forest species were heard or seen, including several Common Nighthawks. 
Saturday morning I hiked the nearby Devils Ridge Trail. With the help of several GRAY JAYS, I found two BARRED OWLS. These birds had apparently not read the signs for the Spotted Owl Trail, which one uses to access the Devils Ridge Trail. I guess those days are long gone.
