Thanks for the link to the web site, I hadn't seen it before. I was aware of the preserve, however it apppears to be closed. The hiking trail into the forested area on the west side of campus has a closed gate, with a sign saying "Area closed". Do you know of other trails into the preserve that may be open?
Assuming that the preserve is closed, do you have any other suggested sites in the area, or not far out of the way?
What are your thoughts on Tualatin Hills Nature Park and Beaver Creek Wetlands Park?
I have a map of all the parks in Beaverton, but not being familiar with the area, I don't want to waste time going to parks that don't offer much in the way of birding/wildlife viewing.
