[obol] Last Year There Was A Brambling In Monmouth

Who sent Joel Geier a photo of last year's Brambling in Monmouth, Polk
County? Joel forwarded it to me, but I can't find the email where he said
who took it. In the email where he sent it, he speculates that the homeowner
might have given it to him, or possibly Jessie Saar a.k.a. Jessie Lynch.

I am finalizing the issue of Oregon Birds covering last springs field notes,
32:3 (called "Fall 2006") with a few color images, and I would like to
include it. If someone has another such image that we could use for the
Brambling, I would love to look at too. 

There are a few on Greg Gilson's web
site,(http://www.thebirdguide.com/rarebirds/rare_photos.htm) including
images by Rudi Rudolph and Maitreya, but this is not one of those. If I
can't find the owner of the one I have, can we use one of them?

Also Keith Owen posted a couple on his blog site, at

I appreciate everyone's patience regarding Oregon Birds. Sorry I'm a little
slow to get this out, but it should be a nice issue. I'm still hoping to
catch up in future. More on that later,
