[obol] Fern Ridge singing Meadowlarks, Acorn Woodpeckers

Celebrated the spring weather with a bike ride out through the West Eugene Wetlands and then up Royal Ave to Fern Ridge. Saw 3 WESTERN MEADOWLARKS singing along the Fern Ridge bike path.  A pair of HOODED MERGANSERS in Amazon Creek. A flock of WESTERN BLUEBIRDS were flying between fence posts and mistletoe just before the gate at the end of Royal Ave.  I watched 2 ACORN WOODPECKERS also hanging out in the same big mistletoe festooned tree.  3 TURKEY VULTURES were wheeling around.  Many female N HARRIERS and one male.  2 TREE SWALLOWS.  And I scoped out about 30 TUNDRA SWANS in the ponds north of the observation deck in the refuge.
