Obolniks,

Our horde of marauding Steller's jays take over the feeders in shifts--they dan't all fit at once.  Just one individual uses the 
raucous call of a Clark's nutcracker when moving in to feast.  Fools me every day!  It alternates between typical STJA sounds and 
this.  Don't have any idea where it learned this call, but may have picked it up from nutcrackers that show up once every few 
winters on top of Marys Peak, about 4 air miles distance to our west.  Or maybe it's a Cascades bird on sabbatical.  No one else in 
the flock has adopted this voice yet, unless they are taking turns on me.
