One never knows when a lost bird will show up but it seems today was the day
First off this morning a HARRIS'S SPARROW dropped by to stuff it's crop then
later in the day a couple of EURASIAN-COLLARED DOVES dropped by for lunch.
There is still a absence of PINE SISKINS, LESSER GOLDFINCHES and AMERICAN
GOLDFINCHES.
I've seen only two PINE SISKINS and one AMERICAN GOLDFINCH this season so
far.
What gives with the Goldfinches?
I suppose the PINE SISKINS are having another off year but TWO is way too
low for these little birds.
So those folks that are complaining about having too many PINE SISKINS, send
them down here.
I miss the cute little zingers!
