OBOL'ers:
Bob Stites and I went looking for Lars Norgren's Horned Lark today along Milne Rd. Did get fleeting looks at two probable larks. But the best birds were a pair of BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS in a field south of Harrington Rd. at a point about .5 mi. west of Milne Rd. or .2 mi. east of Kerkman Rd. They were approx 150 meters south of the lone Cedar Tree along this stretch of Harrington Rd.
At Killen Wetlands, we saw 1 BITTERN and heard 3-4 more pumping, and heard 3-4 VIRGINIA RAILS. A pair of CINNAMON TEAL flew in, and there was a pair of HUTTON'S VIREOS further up Killen Rd.
Good birding, Mike
