The overnight rain seems to have dropped migrants into the south Eugene
flatlands. Outside my window in the last hour have been an Orange-crowned
Warbler, two White-crowned Sparrows (rare migrant in the yard) and a male
Rufous Hummingbird (rare spring migrant in the yard).
Several Golden-crowned Sparrows have appeared in recent days, Lesser
Goldfinch numbers are up, kinglets, siskins, a Song Sparrow and other local
talent are also around.
