For those of you who work in higher education and who fantasize about living
on the birdy south coast, note that the job of dean of the Curry County
campus (based in Brookings) for Southwestern Oregon Community College has
just come open.

Here in moist Eugene, Varied Thrushes have appeared in my yard again after
being essentially absent for a month.
