[obol] American Bittern photo at Killin today

I finally took my first digiscopes of American Bittern.. it only took seven years to do.  I put  one up on my site at;

We were heading over to Tillamook Sat. in the downpour, but stopped at Killin Marsh anyway, where Mark Miller and Marcia Marvin were finishing up birding.  Heading back to town in glorious weather Sunday afternoon after failing to find the Peregrines at Cape Meares, photography at Killin was a must-do.  We were all alone there with the birds.  This was fortunate because the Bittern I found was not hidden yet, and was approx. 25 yards from the road.. a cinch for digiscoping.  It tolerated me for a while before moving slowly under grassy cover.  Several other Bitterns were calling.
