Hi all,

Marilyn and I spend several hours birding around Burns and Hines 
Saturday (March 24). There were impressive numbers (thousands) of ROSS'S 
GEESE. They outnumbered Snow Geese by at least 100:1. Also, there were 2 
EURASIAN WIGEONS in the same flooded field on the north side of 
Greenhouse Lane. There were many LESSER SANDHILL CRANES, outnumbering 
the Greater Sandhill Cranes by about 20:1. Finally, of interest was a 
field where we counted 38 LONG-BILLED CURLEWS.
