I finally had a chance to try out my new camera on a pelagic trip. Of the 
over 300 photos I took on the trip, I ended up with 23 "good" ones of 
Black-footed Albatrosses and 7 of a single Laysan Albatross. This is far 
more than I would want for a photo trip report, so I present them in a 
temporary photo gallery.

For captions I added information about ID, aging, life history, flight, 
behavior, and other tidbits. The hour or two we spend on each 11 hour trip 
with these magnificent creatures is the highlight of the trip for most of 
our guests. Check out the photos and see why!
