At the bottom of Sandy Creek, east of Coquille along
Hwy 42, I heard a calling YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT this
morning. That ties for the earliest Coos spring
record. On my way up Signal Tree road I heard a LAZULI
BUNTING calling too, this was on the Douglas Co. side
though.

Up in the Coast Range it was snowing pretty good above
3,000' so I dropped down below 2700'(just out of the
snow zone) to work and heard quite a few HERMIT
WARBLERS. Also heard a couple WILSON'S WARBLERS and
MACGILLVRAYS WARBLERS nearby. Overall it was pretty
quiet and very wet up high where I was.

ENJOY!
