I found a GRAY FLYCATCHER on the east side of Mt Pisgah this afternoon-3:15. Thebird was perched on blackberry bushes on the north side of the gravel road on the flats. The location was beyond the end of the fence about midway between utility poles. The bird allowed a long study as it sallied back and forth. Salient field marks were, all gray back and body except for a hint of yellow on the lower belly Pumping tail motion with white margins on the side of the tail. The bill was black. The call was a soft whit, no song heard, but it appeared agitated when I played the Gray's song on my birdpod. Bird on, Bob Bender in Eugene
