14 WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were grazing near the road at the Narrows on Coville Rd., Baskett Slough NWR yesterday, Friday, May 4. This is considerably down from the flock of about 100 I saw at the Narrows a week ago. On the other (south) side of the road, next to the running water, was a lone LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER preening and napping. Linda Fink
