Lower Columbia Birders trip - 5/5/2007

The Lower Columbia Birders went out under cloudy skies and 
coolish temperatures to Coxcomb Hill, Wireless Rd and the
Warrenton Sewage ponds.

First of the season  OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER and WESTERN 
WOOD PEWEE were at Coxcomb Hill and first of the season 
YELLOW WARBLERS were at the sewage ponds.  We saw several
large flocks of WESTERN SANDPIPERS, but WHIMBREL and BLACK-
BELLIED PLOVER numbers are down from earlier in the week
