[obol] The breaching whales: Baird's Beaked Whale

The whales we saw that came entirely out of the water on our recent cruise
off Oregon were without doubt Baird's Beaked Whales. I had described the
beak without using the word "beak" to the person who stopped by and said
that she knew whale species.  The illustrations that I have looked at are
perfect for what we saw. The species is expected off the Oregon coast as I
understand.  

I will have to have a sea mammal book with me next time.
